Spice Up Your Christmas: Turkish Coffee Cocktails for Festive Cheer

It’s nearly the festive season, and with Christmas, comes many, many holiday parties. To get yourself ready, we have put together a list of our favourite Turkish Coffee cocktails which will make the perfect addition to your get together.

Turkish Coffee Martini

What says ‘Merry Christmas’ more than a Martini? As the festive season approaches, there are going to be more and more Christmas get-togethers. Wow your guests with our Turkish Coffee Martini recipe.

  • 50 ml vodka
  • 30 ml freshly brewed and cooled Turkish coffee
  • 15 ml simple syrup
  • Ice cubes

To craft our festive Turkish Coffee Martini, begin by brewing a strong cup of Turkish coffee using finely ground beans, allowing it to cool to room temperature. Whilst the coffee cools, prepare a simple syrup by combining equal parts water and sugar. Then, measure out your 50ml of vodka and combine with your 30ml of brewed Turkish coffee and 15 ml of simple syrup.

Grab your cocktail shaker and fill it with ice cubes, then pour the rest of your ingredients. Shake vigorously for about 10-15 seconds to chill and froth the mixture. Strain the contents into a chilled martini glass, using a strainer to remove ice and small coffee grounds. Optionally, garnish with coffee beans or a dusting of ground Turkish coffee for a visually appealing touch. Enjoy your Turkish Coffee Martini at your festive party this year.

Turkish Delight Espresso Martini

Next on the list, we have a delicious Turkish Delight Espresso Martini, which pairs amazingly with a side of Turkish Delight (even if we do say so ourselves…). To make this tantalising cocktail, you will need:

  • 40 ml vodka
  • 30 ml coffee liqueur (such as Kahlúa)
  • 30 ml Turkish coffee
  • 15 ml rose water
  • Ice cubes

Indulge in the exotic flavours of a Turkish Delight Espresso Martini by following this straightforward method. Begin by brewing a robust cup of Turkish coffee, allowing it to cool to room temperature. In preparation, measure 40 ml of vodka, 30 ml of coffee liqueur,  30 ml of the brewed Turkish coffee, and 15 ml of fragrant rose water.

Again, grab your cocktail shaker and fill it with ice cubes and then combine the vodka, coffee liqueur, Turkish coffee, and rose water. Shake the mixture for around 10-15 seconds – this will ensure the mixture is well-chilled and at the perfect serving temperature. Strain the liquid into a martini glass. Then, simply enjoy the delicious blend of rich coffee, velvety liqueur, and rose water this Christmas.
