Özerlat is the surname of our director, Iley Özerlat-Gunduz. With each product carrying her name, Özerlat is deeply personal for Iley and reflects her values of quality, respect and sustainability.

We go through a thorough vetting process in assessing brands we work with and build long term relationships based on trust and respect. Without exception, they represent family owned businesses with deep running traditions and artisanal production methods resulting in products that are best of their category.

All our products are plant based and gluten free. Some of our Turkish delight ranges are nut free. However, our production facilities do handle nuts, dairy and gluten containing products so our products might contain relevant traces.

All our products are free of animal products and are therefore suitable for all of the above.

Expiry for our products are included on the back of our packaging. We endeavour to ensure each delivered product will have 2 months to its best before date on the date of purchase.

All of our products should be stored at room temperature in dry and odourless conditions away from direct sunlight.

Once opened, our Turkish delight, Helvas and Figs should be consumed within 10 days. Our coffee ranges will keep much longer however need to be kept in an air-tight container. Please see product packaging for detailed instructions.

Whilst we are currently working hard on making all our packaging recyclable, we are yet to attain this goal. See below information for all of our products:

  • Coffees: Not Recyclable
  • Turkish delights & Tahin helva: Not Recyclable, however we would encourage all customers to reuse our beautiful handmade boxes
  • Aydin Figs: Recyclable except for the shrink wrap film
  • Other products as advised on packaging

In our Turkish coffee range, Heritage is our best seller. Our best-selling Turkish delights are Pistachio and Rose whereas our Pistachio Helva has proven our popular so far.

Yes! Please write your note at checkout, in the order notes, and we will be happy to include a personalised note for you in the parcel. 

Due to the quick processing time of our warehouse, unfortunately we’re unable to change or cancel orders once they have been processed. However, if you’ve made a mistake (for example, wrong delivery address or product ordered), please get in touch with us as soon as possible, no later than 24h after ordering, via our contact page here and we will do our best to help.

Each order is processed within 24-48 hours and is then delivered. From the order date, you should expect to receive your order within 2-4 working days if you are in the UK. You can read more about our delivery policy here.
