In a beautiful fusion of heritage and modern craft, we’ve partnered with Mezcal Reina to create a cocktail that’s both bold and graceful. The Smoky Rose Turkish Delight Cocktail blends our fragrant Rose Turkish Delight with Mezcal Reina’s smoky, complex Ensamble Espadín / Jabalí. The result is an elegant, refreshing drink that surprises and delights with every sip.

Smoky Rose Turkish Delight Cocktail Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 50 ml Mezcal Ensamble Espadín / Jabalí 
  • 30 ml rose syrup 
  • Juice of 1 lime wedge 
  • 200 ml cranberry juice, frozen and crushed (for granita) 
  • 2 pieces Özerlat Rose Turkish Delight (washed and frozen) 
  • Fresh mint or your favourite herb, for garnish 

Instructions:

  1. Freeze the Cranberry Granita:
    Pour the cranberry juice into resealable bags and freeze flat. Once solid, wrap in a tea towel and crush into a granita texture using a rolling pin or other heavy object. 
  2. Prepare the Turkish Delight:
    Rinse the Özerlat Rose Turkish Delight to remove icing sugar and freeze until firm. 
  3. Assemble the Glass:
    Place one frozen piece of Turkish delight at the bottom of a cocktail glass. Spoon a generous amount of cranberry granita on top to create a cool, textured base. 
  4. Mix the Cocktail:
    In a shaker, combine mezcal, rose syrup, and lime juice. Shake gently to blend the flavours while keeping the floral and citrus notes intact. 
  5. Serve and Garnish:
    Pour the mezcal mixture over the granita and delight. Finish with a sprig of fresh mint or your favourite aromatic herb.
